Introduction
The Palmstreet Affiliate Program is designed to be a mutually beneficial partnership. As an affiliate, you are an ambassador of our brand, and we rely on you to promote our platform in a manner that reflects our values. To ensure the success and fairness of the program, we have established the following guidelines to prevent abuse and protect the integrity of our brand.
1. Honesty & Transparency
- Truthful Promotion: Affiliates must provide accurate and honest information about Palmstreet. Misleading claims or exaggerations about the benefits, features, or performance of our products or services are strictly prohibited.
2. Prohibited Practices
To maintain a fair and ethical affiliate program, the following practices are strictly prohibited:
- Click Fraud: Generating fake clicks on your affiliate links, whether through bots, click exchanges, or incentivized clicks, is not allowed.
- Self-Referrals: Affiliates may not use their own affiliate links to make purchases or sign-ups for personal gain. This includes using different email addresses or accounts to create false referrals.
- Cookie Stuffing: Manipulating cookies to attribute sales to your affiliate account when the user did not actually use your link to make the purchase is prohibited.
- Misleading Promotions: Affiliates must not use deceptive tactics, such as fake discounts, false claims of scarcity, or misleading product comparisons, to drive sales.
- Spamming: Affiliates may not engage in spamming tactics, such as sending unsolicited emails, posting irrelevant comments in forums, or using aggressive pop-ups. All promotional efforts must be respectful and aligned with legal regulations.
3. Content Guidelines
- Quality Content: Affiliates are encouraged to produce high-quality content that adds value to the audience. This includes informative blog posts, engaging social media content, and well-produced videos. Content should be relevant, original, and reflect the interests of your audience.
- Prohibited Content: Affiliates must not create or distribute content that is offensive, discriminatory, or harmful. This includes content that promotes violence, illegal activities, or hate speech. Content that damages the reputation of Palmstreet or misrepresents our values will not be tolerated.
- Brand Representation: Affiliates should only use approved marketing materials provided by Palmstreet. Unauthorized use of logos, images, or branding elements is prohibited. Any modifications to our materials must be pre-approved.
4. Social Media Conduct
- Authentic Engagement: Affiliates should focus on building genuine relationships with their followers. Buying followers, likes, or comments, or engaging in other manipulative practices is not allowed.
- Respectful Interaction: Affiliates must interact with their audience and other users in a respectful and positive manner. Harassment, bullying, or any form of abusive behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Platform Policies: Affiliates must adhere to the terms of service and community guidelines of the social media platforms they use for promotion.
5. Compliance with Laws
- Legal Compliance: Affiliates are responsible for complying with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to advertising, data protection, and consumer rights. This includes adhering to FTC guidelines in the US or similar regulations in other countries.
- Data Privacy: Affiliates must respect the privacy of users and avoid collecting or sharing personal data without explicit consent. Any data collected must be used in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6. Monitoring & Enforcement
- Program Monitoring: Palmstreet reserves the right to monitor affiliate activity to ensure compliance with these guidelines. This includes reviewing content, tracking clicks, and analyzing conversion data.
- Violation Consequences: Affiliates found in violation of these guidelines may face penalties, including warning notices, commission forfeiture, or termination from the program. Severe violations, such as fraudulent activity, may result in legal action.
- Appeal Process: Affiliates who believe they have been unfairly penalized may submit an appeal for review. Palmstreet will consider all appeals on a case-by-case basis.
7. Reporting Abuse
- Self-Reporting: If an affiliate realizes they have unintentionally violated these guidelines, they should report it to the affiliate support team immediately. We appreciate honesty and will work with affiliates to resolve the issue.
- Reporting Others: Affiliates are encouraged to report any suspected abuse or unethical behavior by other affiliates. Reports can be made confidentially and will be investigated thoroughly.
