Q: What permissions are granted to Palmstreet when connecting accounts?
To support multistreaming, Palmstreet requests a limited set of permissions from connected social media accounts. These permissions are strictly limited to what is necessary for livestream setup and audience engagement:
Palmstreet does not:
All content outside of the livestream remains unaffected. Access is read-only where applicable and is used exclusively for managing Palmstreet multistream broadcasts.
Q: Do I need to start or schedule livestreams separately on each platform?
No. Once multistreaming is enabled and accounts are connected in the Palmstreet setup, the livestream will automatically begin across all selected platforms—when the show starts on Palmstreet. There is no need to schedule or start a separate stream.
Q: Can I multistream after I’ve already scheduled a live show?
No — multistreaming can only be set up at the time you schedule your LIVE show. Once a LIVE show has been created, there is currently no option to go back and edit or connect platforms afterward. Be sure to enable multistreaming during the initial setup process.
Q: I see the message “The user is not enabled for live streaming.” What does it mean?
This typically means the platform account does not meet livestreaming eligibility criteria. Please review the Platform Requirements above to ensure all conditions are met.
