Sometimes purchases don't go as planned. At Palmstreet, we support sellers to issue full or partial refunds for orders.
To start the refund process for your order, just follow the simple steps below.
Settings -> My Sales - Choose the buyer -> Select the order -> Issue a refund
Select the actual reason -> Next
-> Full refund -> Next
-> Refund Now
-> Yes
Settings -> My Sales - Choose the buyer -> Select the order -> Issue a refund -> Select the actual reason -> Next -> Partial refund -> Next
-> Enter the refund amount -> Next
-> Refund Now
Please note that sometimes buyers may use Palmstreet Credits/coupons to partially cover the order payment amount. When the refund amount exceeds the actual amount paid by the buyer, the system will require you to cancel and fully refund the order. If you need any assistance, please contact the PalmstreetSupport account.

At present, Palmstreet covers Stripe fees related to refunds. If the Stripe fees surpass $50, please reach out to our customer service for a refund. The responsibility for these fees will either be transferred to the seller or the buyer.
Refunds will typically take 3-7 business days (depending on your banking institution) to show up on your original form of payment from the day the refund is initiated.
We currently only support refunds for orders within the last 30 days. If you have orders older than 30 days that require a refund, please feel free to contact us anytime.
A partial refund will not affect the order status. For example, if a partial refund is issued before shipping, the order will still remain in the 'paid' and 'ready to ship' status.
All refunds must be issued back to the original form of payment. If that card has been canceled or replaced, you will need to contact your card issuer for further assistance in tracking the refund. Typically, your card issuer will accept the refund on your behalf and either process it into your current account or wait for you to contact them to collect the funds.
If you made your purchase using Palmstreet credits, your refund will be available within 24 hours of being approved. You can check your available credits by going to Profile > Settings > Referral Banner.
