Alice is a highly sought after Teruno cultivar! It descended from #4 Hanahana, inheriting its soft, mochi-blur variegation and characteristic pastel emergence. Alice expresses pale, misty coloration on new leaves, which show as yellow, mint, or chartreuse tones. It can also throw out soft segmented sections, like this one did! The emergent leaves gradually harden off, and the non white portions harden into greener, more mature leaves. It is also known for maintaining Hanahana’s signature white-backed leaf trait!

This cultivar is also known for its delicate size leaves and close internodal spacing, making it a perfect little “desk diva”. Because it is so highly variegated, Alice is very difficult to root out and is a slow grower. This specimen is rooted, and absolutely stunning.
