Platycerium is an epiphytic plant. In their natural habitat, they are growing on trees. They like to be mounted on good quality sphagnum moss and orchid/coco bark, no soil!!! They need a good source of light but no direct sunlight! they could grow outdoor or indoor. watering is done by dunking them in a big bucket when the moss is almost completely dry. You could use a weak mix of seaweed fertilizer during watering.

Platycerium consist of 18 species and each species carry lots of cultivars! And then we have hybrids.

This Platycerium Coronarium "thin form" takes about 4-5 years to grow to this size. They will make a great living art in your wall and addition to your plant collection.
