Bright light is crucial for ample color and dew on these plants; 16+ hours a day in direct sunlight or under bright grow lights will keep them thriving.

Keep the soil consistently moist with DISTILLED, RAIN, OR RO WATER ONLY. This plant cannot tolerate the minerals in normal water; it will die. Working the tray bottom is the best method.

Moderate humidity is 40-70% and works best, with good airflow and temperatures in 60-85 F.

When repotting, use a nutrient-poor Carnivorous Mix consisting of 50/50 peat and perlite, or long-fiber Spagnum moss.

Tropical Drosera do not require dormancy. Yet, some temperate species die back or rest in the winter; it varies. In this case, a dormancy is not required, but growing may slow down.
