I originally brought the diamond faced Rolex into Springers jewelers to have a new crystal face put on. As an authorized Rolex dealer they stated that the only way they will put on a new crystal is to inspect the watch for authenticity and to see if anything is wrong with the watch. If anything was wrong my options would be to take it back as is or have them fix it to Rolex specs. Rolex is very strict and they can’t touch it unless that criteria is met. It was authentic and in perfect condition. They also stated I could pay to have all the parts cleaned in addition to the new crystal. Which I did. Looks brand new, loved it. I also received a two year warranty for the work that they did.

It is very difficult to buy a new Rolex. Unless one is extremely rich. Even then there a wait. I did look at their used watches they ranged from the low of 15k to over 50k. But it just validated how nice mine was. You can buy a used Rolex on line for 5k and up. But you will not know exactly what you are getting. It will run but that’s a gamble. As you know this one of mine is authorized.
