Begonia Dracopelta 🌱💚 is a rare, newly described intermediate tropical perennial herb native to the wet rainforests of Borneo (Sarawak and West Kalimantan, Indonesia). The plant is highly sought after by collectors for its intensely dramatic, deeply bullate (bumpy) foliage that resembles protective dragon scales or the skin of an earless monitor lizard. In its natural habitat, it grows terrestrially on stone walls near waterfalls under conditions of near-total humidity. It has a semi-erect or arching growth habit.
