Amazing caudex-forming vine from east Africa and a member of the cucumber family. Finally available from my friend's local nursery collection, grown from seed and approx. 4 years old. Recently lifted and ready for a decorative pot. Hardy outdoors zone 9 and warmer, or bring in when cooler than 48-50°F. Water very infrequently in cooler seasons, as this is a tropical heat-loving caudiciform. Really easy to grow collector's plant, just use 70% pumice and 30% cactus mix and fertilize during active growth. shipped bareroot, water 3 days after potting to avoid root rot.
