☂️ Begonia Umbrella × Dinhdui (also known as Begonia Botanicaz 2) is a rare, striking hybrid cultivar created by crossing Begonia sp. "Umbrella" from Borneo with Begonia Dinhdui from Vietnam. This specific hybrid is highly celebrated among rare plant collectors for combining the unique, succulent leaf properties of the "Umbrella" species with the dramatic dark tones of B. dinhdui. It features deep green, almost black iridescent leaves accented with shimmering silver margins and speckles. The abaxial (underside) of the leaf is a vibrant, deep wine-red, which makes the top-facing green tones look even richer ✨️ Because both parents originate from highly humid, tropical Asian environments, this hybrid is best suited for terrariums, Wardian cases, or high-humidity grow tents. Humidity: 70% to 90%. It will quickly suffer crisping or melting if kept in ambient open-room humidity. Requires bright, indirect light. Avoid direct afternoon sunlight, which can easily scorch the delicate, shimmering foliage. Prefers warm conditions between 65°F and 80°F (18°C–27°C). It is highly sensitive to cold draft shock.
