🌿 Alocasia Wentii Aurea — Rooted Offshoot Pup

A rooted Alocasia Wentii Aurea offshoot from Coal River Cultivation mother plant MP0516. 🌱

Aurea variegation can be a slow reveal. New leaves may emerge looking greener or more subtle, with the yellow/golden tones becoming more visible as the leaf hardens and the variegation burns in over time.

Wentii are also enthusiastic offshoot producers. Rather than reproducing only through loose corms, they commonly send up pups directly from the mother plant’s underground stem/rhizome. These pups develop alongside mama before being separated and rooted on their own.
